2 Page Layout

I love taking pictures, so I'm always left with a challenge of how to fit my many, many beloved photos onto a 12*12 space! Here are two new pages from my Europe Scrapbook.  Enjoy.

The page borders I had cut from the sides of a patterned cardstock and then I hand ripped to soften them.

I then cut two 6*6 squares from patterned cardstock and arranged them on top.

After that I grouped my pictures and added my details.

On the left side...
I used chipboard letters for my title and glued them to the page with 'pop dots' so they would pop-up from the page.
I cut out a quote written on vellum and glued it to white cardstock.  I then took light blue cardstock and cut about a 1-inch wide strip.  I used that to make my home made paper-ribbon border.
I then made a ribbon rose and glued it to the center of a bright green flower which I shaded with blue paper chalk.
On the right side...
I layered paper flowers and glued a jewel to the center.  In the left corner I colored in and embossed a cardstock flower border.
I stamped this flower onto white cardstock and then cut it out and glued some sparkles on top.

Wall Art

This is a scrap page that I made as wall art for my mother.
This page has multiple layers.  There is brown cardstock as a base, a flowery cardstock on the left as a second layer, and then a large circle cut out of burgundy cardstock.  The flowers on top are cut out of a patterned page from "Me & My Big Ideas" paper pad "Fashion District" collection.  I had shaded the flowers in and glued jewels to their centers.  The four butterflies are cut out of cardstock and then folded in two (so they pop-up from the page) and then they have jewels glued down their center.

Handmade Flowers

I love flowers as embellishments, and I love making my own out of ribbon and fabric.  You can use them anywhere on Scrapbook pages, cards, album covers, even glue it to a headband or make yourself a brooch. Here are 3 that I made today.

Look what I did with this one...
